AIRlabs Austria
The Aeronautical Innovation & Research Laboratories AIRlabs Austria involves a multisite concept for testing various UAS use cases and provides low-threshold access to enabling technologies. The consortium partners from various research disciplines and industry support AIRlabs with their knowledge and various infrastructure for the innovation of UAS in Austria.
Technologies and competences
The infrastructural offers ranges from various laboratories, simulators and measurement chambers. Further included are airspaces for testing various sensor technologies, areas for UAS and airspace integration tests. Additionally, relevant services such as support for flight permits and regulatory questions, development of test scenarios, optimisations and other expertise are provided.
