CUAS
The Dept. of Geoinformation and Environmental Technologies at CUAS offers applied degree programs at undergraduate ("Geoinformation and Environmental Technologies") and graduate ("Spatial Information Management") level. Research interest in the context of aviation is the holistic application of UAS for very high resolution multidimensional validated data capture for various application domains.
Technologies and competences
We operate since 2014 two fully certified class 1 fixed-wing UAS systems with integrated optical (RGB, NIR, Multispectral, Hyperspectral cameras) and meteorological sensors. High performance hardware and software infrastructure and processing chaons for UAS big data processing are available. For high precision ground truth measurements we are equipped with a Leica survey grade mobile DGPS.
