ENGEL is a family owned company based in Austria with about 5.000 employees and a turnover of more than one billion Euro. Main business is the creation of customer solutions when it comes to discontinued processing of plastics. The Product portfolio consists out of injection molding machines, presses, robots and equipment.
Technologies and competences
ENGEL is global leader in injection molding technolgies. A main focus in development is on composite technologies. ENGEL provides solutions for Organomelt (thermoforming and overmolding of thermoplastic Composite fabrics), in situ polymerization, HP-RTM and compression molding. Research and development activities are in UD-Tape and in situ polymerization
