Treibacher Industrie AG (TIAG) is an internationally active company in the chemicals, ceramic materials and metallurgy sector. Founded in 1898 by Dr Carl Auer von Welsbach, the company today has 870 employees and an export ratio of 90%. The headquarters, R&D as well as production are located in Althofen, Austria.
Technologies and competences
The main focus of TIAG is on products in the field of ceramic coatings for thermal insulation of turbine components. The company's own plasma spray booth works closely with customers in developing optimal processing technologies. TIAG is able to accompany and support the entire development process of its customers – from the idea through the development and analysis stage to series production.
