RISC Software
RISC Software was founded in 1992 and is owned by the Johannes Kepler University Linz (80%) and Upper Austrian Research GmbH (20%). It is an internationally operating IT company providing software development services. The company focuses on the development of complex and highly reliable custom software solutions, mainly in the areas of computational mathematics and computer science.
Technologies and competences
RISC Software combines engineering excellence from mathematics, computer science, and software engineering. This allows supporting projects that range from initial concept ideas to the development of mature systems, through deep domain knowledge in the areas of numerical mathematics, computational geometry, software design, and software development processes.
