Austrian Competences in Aeronautics Technology

Technische Universität Wien - Institute of Chemical Technologies and Analytics

The Institute of Chemical Technologies and Analytics is focussed on materials research and surface analytics. The main activities are material development and advyanced development based on powder technologies with Fe, Al, steel, and hard metal. Materials with special characteristics: expansion behaviour, materials for thermal Management, coating technology, CVD and chemical change on the surface.

Technologies and competences

The Institute‘s competences are in the field of materials development and advanced development based on powder technologies with a focus on Fe, Al, steel, hard metal; materials with special characteristics (e.g. expansion behaviour); materials for thermal management; high-tenacity materials; coating technology; CVD; chemical change on the surface; and high-temperature analyses.
